As you are beginning your spring cleaning please consider giving a second life to old kitchen chairs, baskets in good condition, hanging baskets, and plastic planters. Participants with disabilities in the horticulture therapy program will be painting the old chairs and adding plants to enhance the landscaping of many of the Agency’s properties. Baskets, pots and planters are put to immediate use in the Covanta Greenhouse in Wheatfield. Additionally, pinecones are always in demand! More than 6,000 pinecones are used in fresh and artificial wreaths and holiday decorations each December. The program participants will begin attaching the floral wire as early as June. All donations may be delivered to the Covanta Greenhouse at 2510 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Wheatfield.
