The Tatler Club, Inc. and a community friend made donations to Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara providing complete holiday meals for six individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These holiday baskets were presented to the participants of the Supportive Services Exceptional Parenting program at its monthly meeting.
The Family Support Program trains parents with an intellectual or other developmental disability in various aspects of parenting with an emphasis on health, safety and community awareness. Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara assists in the collaboration of services with schools, the department of social services and other community-based providers.
“As members of the community we are proud to play an active role in supporting the mission of Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara,” said The Tatler Club, Inc. vice president Alanna Wustrack.
