  Current Positions

  • Program Information Manager – Residential Services — Niagara Falls – 40 hours per week (mainly M-F) flexible. In conjunction with the Director of Residential Services, is responsible for oversight of program development for the Individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities supported in the Residential Program; including planning and coordination of individual programming/services in accordance with applicable regulatory standards. Provides direct supervision to QIDPs and Program Instructors; coordinates and facilitates staff development and training per assignment. Establishes organizational system for the purpose of monitoring the effectiveness of program operations and oversight of record keeping procedures (i.e. Individual and programmatic records). Ensures the provision of proper Individual assessment and subsequent development of program planning documents (i.e. IPP, habilitation plan, goals etc.), as applicable, to type of service received for all Individuals in assigned program. Responsible to ensure that Individual eligibility is maintained at all times. Will coordinate follow-up necessary to ensure this objective. Requires: Must possess either: a doctor of medicine, registered nursing degree, or bachelor’s degree in psychology, recreational therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietician, social worker, speech therapy or a related human services field. (Refer to the ICF/IDD Regulations for additional information). Must have 1 year of experience working with people with Intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Experience with electronic billing systems highly desirable. Working knowledge of computer applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to perform lifting techniques required per program needs with no restrictions. Must have valid New York State driver’s license and must meet the Agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driver’s license record (MVR).
  • Site Supervisor for Residential Group Home – Lockport– 40 hours per week, flexible (Sunday-Thursday). Responsible for implementation and supervision of daily residence operations for assigned residences where individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (IDD) reside. Oversee housekeeping, and physical plant maintenance, staff scheduling and supervision, orientation and training, health-related care and medication administration, resident and household finances and implementation of resident plan of services. Provide direct supervision to residence staff in terms of task assignments, training, and paperwork requirements, and all other aspects of staff/resident interactions. Must obtain and maintain medication administration certification and SCIP-R Training. 4. Teaches daily living skills, providing assistance, supervision, and counseling as needed, in accordance with individual needs and program plans. Bachelor’s Degree in an area of Human Services or related field from an accredited program, and one year of experience in Human Service capacity, preferably with people with IDD. OR, Associate’s Degree in an area of Human Services or related field and two years’ experience in a group home setting serving people with IDD. OR, an equivalent combination of directly relevant education, training, and/or experience deemed adequate for the position. Must have a valid New York State driver’s license and must meet the Agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driver’s license record. (MVR).
  • Behavior Technician – Niagara County – $12.50/hour, 35 hours per week, flexible (primarily afternoon and weekend hours) – Assists with the facilitation of behavior programming for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (IDD) in conjunction with the Behavior Intervention Specialist. Provides appropriate implementation and review of documentation for all individuals in the designated waiver programs, in accordance with OPWDD and its regulations. Requires: High School Diploma with two (2) years of experience working with people with IDD is required. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, behavioral science or other related field helpful. OR, an equivalent combination of directly relevant education, training and experience deemed adequate to effectively perform the job. Basic knowledge of behavioral theories, practices and programs. Keen observation skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively and positively with Individuals with IDD with patience, compassion and commitment. Must be able to listen and communicate effectively with peers, staff and parents/guardians. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and work in a team environment to produce positive results with fellow team members. Must possess the ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, compose correspondence and meet strict deadlines. Must have the ability to operate a personal computer/general office equipment including the use of Microsoft Office Suite word processing, databases, email and the internet. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license. Must be able to perform lifting techniques as per program or site specific needs with no restrictions. Must complete and maintain certification in SCIP-R, with restrictive certification.
  • Production Worker/Laborer – Niagara Falls/Lockport, Flexible, Monday-Friday Day Hours, Flexible $11.00 per hour. Assist with the moving of freight, stock, finished product and other materials as well as participate in the packing/ assembly of a variety of products and materials, and completion of contract work as assigned. High School Diploma /GED. Experience in a production setting preferred, but not required. Must be able to safely operate equipment including, but not limited to hand trucks, pallet wrappers and pallet jacks. Must be able to provide personal transportation to work site. Must be able to perform lifting techniques required per program or site specific needs with no restrictions.
  • Cleaner – Niagara County and Neighboring Communities, Flexible hours may include evenings and/or weekends, $11.00 per hour. Provides quality cleaning services to customers by utilizing supplies and equipment to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, according to daily checklists. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience in Janitorial functions preferred, but not required OR, has satisfactorily completed Janitorial Assessment 1 and 2 and demonstrates working knowledge, along with basic skill of completing job responsibilities. Must be able to demonstrate safe operation of equipment including but not limited to floor scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors, lawn mowers and trimmers. Must be able to provide personal transportation to and from a designated work site at start/end of shift. Transportation between multiple sites during the course of the shift will be provided.
  • Residential Habilitation Aide – Niagara County-Flexible – Per Diem $9.89 per hour ($10.39 if med certified) – The Residential Habilitation Aide works with the Supportive Services Team toward the provision of Residential Habilitation/Community Hab services one-on-one for individuals enrolled in the HCBS Waiver living at home in the community. Promotes individual inclusion, independence, individualization, and productivity. High School Diploma/GED required, one (1) year experience working in the Human Services Field preferred. Must have a valid New York State drivers’ license and must meet the Agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driver’s record (MVR) and have a license for at least one year. Moderate to heavy lifting required. Wheelchair assistance may be required. Must be approved through New York State Register if working with persons under the age of 18. Recommended to attain core level SCIP-R training. Must successfully complete all OMRDD mandated training.
  • Respite Provider – Niagara County-Flexible – Per Diem $9.89 per hour ($10.39 if med certified) – The Respite Provider is a direct support professional who works with the Supportive Services team providing in-home respite for the families of a person with an intellectual or other developmental disability (I/DD). This includes, but is not limited to constant supervision, meal preparation, transferring of non-ambulatory individuals and behavior management. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided. High School Diploma/GED required, one (1) year experience working in the Human Services Field preferred. Must have a valid New York State drivers’ license and must meet the Agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driver’s record (MVR) and have a license for at least one year. Satisfy and maintain Category IV Driving Status. Moderate to heavy lifting required. Wheelchair assistance may be required. Must be approved through New York State Register if working with persons under the age of 18.

Residential Positions

  • Direct Care Professional – Residential Aide – Full time and part time positions available. Provides direct care services to program participants by implementing established active treatment plans and established program services. Provides necessary support and monitoring of program participants to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. The Residential Aide promotes program participant inclusion, individualization, independence, and productivity. High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience in Human Services preferred. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and satisfy the agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driving record and have a license for at least one year. Must successfully complete all OPWDD mandated training. Pay rate $11.7292 per hour. (Overnight Residential Aide $12.3694 per hour – no driver’s license required.)
  • Direct Care Professional – Behavioral Assistant – Full time and part time positions available.  Functions as an adjunctive member of the Interdisciplinary Team (ITT), participating in and providing input into the formulation of the individual resident’s program plan. High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience in Human Services preferred. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and satisfy the agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driving record and have a license for at least one year. Must successfully complete all OPWDD mandated training. Pay rate $12.3694 per hour. (Overnight BA $12.3694 per hour – no driver’s license required.)
  • Direct Care Professional – Residential Program Specialist – Full time and part time positions available. Responsible for implementation of the individual resident’s program plan. Provides direct assistance and supervision of the individual residents and support for adult daily living skills and housekeeping tasks. Responsible to complete administrative and clinical tasks. High School diploma or equivalent two (2) years Human Services experience preferred; one (1) year required. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and satisfy the agency’s driving policy, which includes a satisfactory driving record and have a license for at least one year. Must successfully complete all OPWDD mandated training. Pay rate $12.3694 per hour.
  • Direct Care Professional Relief positions in locations across Niagara County. Provides direct care services to program participants by implementing established active treatment plans and established program services. Provides necessary support and monitoring of program participants to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Flexible schedules. High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience in Human Services preferred. Must successfully complete all OPWDD mandated training. Driver’s license is preferred, but not required. Pay rate $10.7380 per hour Residential and Day Programs.
